Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Kit
The PPE kit is an important safeguarding gear worn to shield you from infections or virus that can be transmitted. It is worn mostly by health care workers, people taking care of infected people or any other individuals to protect themselves against infectious materials. The PPE kit is available in pack of 1 kit, 10 kits and 100 kits. Each PPE kit includes –
· Full Bodysuit – Made from medical (SMS 90 GSM) fabric which is approved by the DRDE, this bodysuit is designed to protect the whole body. It is impermeable, which means it does not let any fluid etc to pass through it. This full length bodysuit features full sleeves with elastic cuffs, front zippered opening, and an attached cap with a drawstring for extra seal. It is also free size and disposable.
· Gloves – These nitrile surgical gloves are powder free, and to easy wear. The gloves are non-sterile and are also disposable.
· 3 Ply mask – The surgical mask features high level filtration to effectively block bacteria and infections which are generated and transmitted from an infected person in the form of droplets or aerosols. The disposable 3-Ply face mask has soft elastic ear loops and a flexible plastic strip that will help to keep the mask in place all day long.
· Shoe cover – This disposable shoe cover is made from (SMS 90 GSM) fabric and features elastic closure a little above the ankles for greater fit.
· Goggles – These disposable and fog safe goggles are protective glasses which are designed to also accommodate prescription glasses. They are clear and offer indirect venting to reduce fogging. The protective glasses also feature an elastic band at the back, this ensure that the goggles stay in place.
· Surgical Cap – Made from light non-woven material, these caps cover your head portion and prevent contamination of the operating field from microorganisms that originate in the personnel’s hair or scalps. They are for the wearers as well as for the patient’s safety. The caps have elastic opening for a greater fit.
· Handkerchief – The kit includes a handkerchief which can come in handy for various purposes while taking care of a patient. The handkerchief is made from good quality melt blown material.
· Bio-hazard Bag – The kit includes bio-hazard bags to dispose of all the used medical material that may be contaminated and need a more safer disposing method.

How to use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Kit
· Remove the full body suit and gloves inside out and dispose of safely. To reuse the body suit, place it in the disinfectant before using it again.
· The full head cover should be removed from behind the head. Place it in the disinfectant to re-use it.
· The face mask should also be removed from the back of the head.
· If wearing rubber boots inside the body suit, remove them without touching them with your hands. Place them in a container with disinfectant.
· Perform hand hygiene each time.

How to use Face Masks
How to put on a 3 Ply Face Mask?
· Clean your hands with soap and water or hand sanitizer before touching the mask
· Check for defects in the face mask, such as tears or broken loops
· Determine which side of the mask is the top and position it accordingly on your face
· Hold the mask by the ear loops and place a loop around each ear
· Pull the bottom of the 3 layer mask over your mouth and chin and ensure that the mask fits properly
· Don’t touch the mask once in position
How to remove a 3 Ply Face Mask?
· Before you take off the 3 layer mask, wash your hands well or use hand sanitizer
· Avoid touching the front of the mask, as it could be contaminated. Only touch the ear loops
· Unhook both ear loops and gently lift and remove the mask
· After removing, throw the mask in the dustbin and wash your hands thoroughly or use hand sanitizer
